• Account Information: When you sign in with Google, Apple, or Phone number, we receive your name, email address, and/or phone number from the respective provider.
• Practice Data: Your jap counts, session history, streaks, and goals are stored to enable cloud sync across devices.
• Journal Entries: Journal entries are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• Usage Data: Basic app usage data to improve the experience.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the LaakJap service
• To sync your practice data across devices
• To process payments for Pro subscriptions
• To send OTP verification codes for phone sign-in
• To improve the app experience

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on servers provided by Neon (PostgreSQL) and Firebase. Journal entries are stored only on your local device and are never transmitted to our servers.

Third-Party Services

LaakJap uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and data storage
• RevenueCat: iOS subscription management
• Cashfree: Android payment processing
• Anthropic Claude: AI scripture assistant

No Advertisements

LaakJap does not display advertisements and does not share your data with advertisers. We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@laakjap.com.

Children's Privacy

LaakJap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
